這張唱片是我今年的情人節禮物(重點!!)，拔臘易懂的歌詞，愛不釋手的
唱片包裝，最重要的是那該死的英搖Tone！絕對名列我今年最重要的唱片
之一，而且又是情人節禮物! 噢！講過啦!?
Copeland來自一向給人熱情奔放印象的佛羅里達，不似當地同儕樂隊龐克
、金屬當道的熱血樂風，Copeland玩的是帶著濃濃英搖Tone的Indie Rock
曲風，身兼吉他手的主唱Aaron Marsh輕柔如羽毛的聲線搭配著招牌的攸柔
琴鍵，給人一種毫無負擔的聆聽感受，而專輯中大部分詞曲也皆是出自他
之手。
發行於去年的第三張錄音室專輯<
千年成軍以來最具企圖心也最成熟的作品，專輯中加入大量的管絃樂器雖然
不算什麼新鮮事，但不過於浮誇的巧妙點綴更加深了其樂風獨特與內斂的特
性，也使編曲更加完整豐富，而其中兩首歌更加入了女聲對唱的必殺橋段，
可以說是什麼Indie Rock秘密武器都用上了；播放的這首Love Affair是專輯中
最美的一首曲子，開頭人聲與鋼琴的完美搭配優雅的進行，中段漸漸前進的
鏗鏗吉他之後，輕巧的Jazz鋼琴悄悄落下，那幾聲可以說是敲到了我的心坎
裏....。
嚴格說起來，Copeland的音樂其實不是那種一聽就給人驚艷的感覺，沒有太
多電氣節拍的點綴，沒有太多的效果器競飆，沒有大爆炸噴淚橋段的加持，
但他們就是能給人一種簡單雋永的感動，搖滾的面向可以是千百種，我想就
算不能讓人搖頭晃腦，只要能讓人感動，那也是一種搖滾。
